Final days...

holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I am now already "back home" in Costa Rica - enjoyed my days in Nicaragua, more precisely in Granada an old Kolonialcity (I guess, thats wrongly writen, but who cares ;-)...spent most time again in the hostel, was a lovely place and I was just toooo lazy to climp vulcanos or explore the nature hihi

anyways now I have reached my final destination - its MONTEZUMA again, I do love this place as well! Unfortunately it took me 2 days to get here as I took a late evening bus from san jose, felt asleep and ended up at the end terminal in mal pais, approximately 2 hours away from Montezuma ;-) anyways now I am here and enjoying the rain, I am hoping for sun sooooooooooooon as I wanna work mainly on my teint here!!!
I also bought a book today - uh surprise surprise hihi - I guess the Da Vinci Code will accompany me the next couple of days perfectly!
Looking forward seeing you in a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek ;-)

hugs and louds of love,
Lisi

Panamania ;-)

hi there,

so I spent nearly a week now at Bocas del Torro in Panama and I really really loved it there! Bocas is the capital of an island group in the carribean sea and it was just lovely. nice people, a great hosel (as u can see on the pictures), a lot of sun and fun ;-)
right now I am back in San Jose and will try to get to Nicaragua for a couple of days by tomorrow. Wanna spend some time there and explore at least a little bit of it before I am going home.
yep there are only 13 days to go for me ;-)

hugs and love,
Lisi

Turtle News

hola mis amigos,

Yep I am still there and saving the world :-)
Having my day off today and enjoying the sun! so what I am up for right now...lets see: Working now in Matapalo, together with around 15 other voluntarios at a turtle project. Our task is to build the hatchery on the beach - which roughly looks like a big sand box :-) and should finally become a place were we are putting the turtle eggs. During night we are going for a 3 hour,10 km walk on the beach to look for turtles, their tracks and most of all their eggs. The main task is to find the eggs and put them in the hatchery were they are most save! We are all doing good and hard work here and its nice to see that our hands are needed!
The work is exciting and I have learned a lot about turtles itself. Unfortunately we havent seen one yet..we always missed them...we just found tracks and the eggs.
Its a great project and I am enjoying my last days here. Me and the 2 very tall dutch girls will start traveling around C.R by the end of the week - pura vida :-)
And most exciting: from today on there are only 4 weeks and 1 day to go and then I am home in good old Austria! Thinking a lot about you all!

pura vida,
Lisi

Aber ich bin ja noch einige Tage hier and u never know...

miss u all,
pura vida

PS: Fotos are on Ringo! (was not possible to upload them here)

News from the sunshine coast

hi and hello

oki doki there are some news from my side. I have finished now my first project in the nationalpark of cabo blanco. was hard work and thank good that the monkeys are pretty bad in throwing fruits on u hihi
we, which means my two dutch friends and me, are spending the weekend of course on the coast and enjoying the sun. unfortunately on the way to Jaco, the beachtown we are staying right now , the bag of my friend Anne got stolen and all documents like pasport, creditcard and so on are gone now. was pretty bad and we spent the afternoon at the police office. but also that was a experience for itself as the english of the officer was reduced to hi and good bey...well vamos a hablar espanol!! I guess we managed pretty well and could then continue our journey!
Tomorrow we are going then to our second project, going to work for 12 days in a turtle station! yep I am mutating to a turtle ranger hihi so you can see, I am not only working on my teint hihi

oki doki thats the sunny news from costa rica
hope you are all doing fine

best wishes from my side
pura vida
